Scotiabank first established a presence in Trinidad and Tobago in 1906 but this was closed shortly after. Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago as it is known today was founded in 1954 and is a subsidiary of the Canadian multinational banking group Scotiabank. In Trinidad and Tobago there are now 1,350 employees, 24 branches, and 96 ATMs. Banking services are available for corporate customers, SMEs, and personal customers. The range of products that are available includes day-to-day accounts, savings accounts, credit cards, loans, mortgages, term deposits, mutual funds, gold certificates, and insurance.
